The story

A little history.

Nagaur Fair is one of the largest cattle fairs in India, held each year in the Hindu month of Magh. Herders and traders bring tens of thousands of animals, especially the strong Nagauri bullocks, along with camels and Marwari horses.

It is less touristy than Pushkar, with more trading and fewer crowds, and gives a real view of rural life in Marwar.
