About Pushkar

Why visit.

Pushkar is one of the holiest towns in India, with dozens of ghats leading down to its sacred lake and hundreds of temples. It is home to one of very few temples in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma.

Its relaxed pace makes it a favourite stop between Jaipur and Jodhpur or Udaipur, and once a year it hosts the famous Pushkar Camel Fair.
